Clients are facilitated in their efforts to develop new insights, to embrace hope and optimism and to face their fears, deal with their anger, fears, depression & dependency; and to manage & reduce anxiety and panic; to problem-solve in practical ways and develop the coping skills that are indicated by their particular, unique issues. Perhaps most importantly, Mariette teaches self-validation and compassion for ourselves and for others. She is experienced in working with young adults, adult families and with couples. Education, guidance, alternate resources and referrals are provided as necessary. Stress & time management as well as relaxation & anxiety reduction techniques are taught as necessary.
